GED® preparation classes for adults are offered year-round. Upon successful completion of the GED® test, you are awarded a State of Florida high school diploma and are considered a high school graduate.
We offer two options to students: face-to-face classes at the school OR virtual (remote instruction) classes. ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE DONE IN PERSON.
Virtual students will need a computer, tablet or cell phone with internet access. Virtual classes conducted via Google Classroom.
New and returning students are welcome to register in person from January 4, 2021 to January 15, 2021
WINTER 2021 Term
Classes are scheduled to begin January 19 and end April 17, 2021
Registration begins January 4, 2021 through January 15, 2021
TUITION FEE: $30 per term (in person)
GED Classes are offered Monday through Thursday from 5pm – 8pm

REGISTER IN PERSON Monday-Thursday between 5:30pm – 8pm (bring a photo ID)

Take a TABE assessment test to determine your learning level

We offer the following levels of GED preparatory classes:
ABE (Adult Basic Education): Reading + Language + Math
GED (General Education Development): Reasoning through Language Arts + Social Studies + Science + Mathematical Reasoning
The Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) is administered upon registration to provide each student with a customized learning plan that develops weaknesses and builds upon strengths in each subject area.
Successful completion of the GED Test provides you with a valid high school credential accepted by major colleges and employers.

Admission to adult education classes is for any person who is at least 16 years of age and not currently enrolled in a K-12 program. Students age 16-17 must be officially withdrawn from the K-12 day school program in order to enroll in our programs. They must complete an Age Waiver packet to take the GED® test. AGE WAIVER INFO HERE
